In this episode, I’m delighted to be joined by author, theologian, and scholar Jonathan A. Linebaugh to talk about his new book The Well That Washes What It Shows, which explores the heart of the Christian message through the lens of the law and the gospel. We also chat about the unity of academic theology and pastoral ministry, the Reformer Thomas Cranmer, and how Scripture’s deepest truths meet troubled consciences with the comfort of grace.
Jono serves as the Anglican Chair of Divinity and professor of New Testament and Christian theology at Beeson Divinity School, Samford University. He is also the author or editor of several books, including The New Perspective on Grace, The Word of the Cross, God’s Two Words, and The Well That Washes What It Shows, all of which you can find on Amazon.
