Torah, Freedom, and the Finished Work of Christ with R. L. Solberg

Ministry Minded, Episode 166.

From the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15 to today, there is a nagging stream of questions surrounding the church and its relationship to the Torah. Are Christians required to keep all the feasts and food laws and Sabbath ordinances just like God’s people of old did? Or are we living in sin if we don’t? Dr. R. L. Solberg and I consider these questions and why they can be answered by God’s Word itself. By looking at Hebrews, Galatians, and other Scriptures, we talk about why Christianity isn’t a checklist but a relationship with a Savior who tells you you’re his.

R. L. Solberg, Ph.D., is an author, professor, and the founder and president of The Biblical Roots Ministries, which seeks to ground believers in Scripture and defend historical Christianity through biblical teaching and apologetics. He currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife of thirty-four years. You can connect with him on his website and on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
