Jeremiah was the first 'saint' who was really real to me in a human way, the realization of the ordinary humanity of such a great prophet is a huge part of my life and talking about a very human Baruch sounds very helpful. I've found Baruch's story in the Old Testament to be quite indicative of where a lot of modern Christians are in the here-and-now. And the word of promise he was given is similar, though it pales in comparison, to the word of promise we have in the gospel. I am praying the Lord speaks mightily through me during this service 🙏
