In my battles with those who overemphasize law, they imply or say out loud that the Gospel of Jesus is His divine enabling to go back now and fulfill Torah. Every bit.
Thanks for reading and commenting, Lyle. The error you’ve described is such a common error. It twists the gospel into some sort of booster shot for law-keeping, instead of the announcement that Christ has fulfilled it for us. The gospel doesn’t send us back to Sinai; it brings us to the cross and the empty tomb.
