Thank you for this powerful reminder that our Deliverer does not run away but stands firm and faithful with His people Scripture assures us that the Lord is our light and salvation so we need not fear Psalm 27:1 and even in the darkest moments He remains a present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 when others fail or flee Jesus promises I am with you always even to the end of the age Matthew 28:20 instead of running in fear we are called to fix our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith Hebrews 12:2 because the Lord does not abandon His own but draws near to save and deliver all who trust in Him Psalm 34:17–19
Amen, that is such a beautiful truth. Moses was a faithful servant, but Jesus is the Son, the fulfillment of everything the Law pointed toward. As Scripture says For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ John 1:17. Moses led the people out of bondage, but Jesus leads us out of sin and death into true life. Hebrews reminds us that “Moses was faithful as a servant… but Christ is faithful over God’s house as a Son Hebrews 3:5–6 Our hope is not in tablets of stone but in the living Christ who writes His law on our hearts. Thank you for pointing us again to the true and better Moses, the One who saves completely.
Amen, Raju. The Moses-Jesus parallels are a fascinating feature of Scripture, especially that Hebrews 3 passage you mentioned. That’s one of my favorite texts to preach from.
Amen brother that truly is a rich and powerful portion of Scripture and it never grows old because it continually draws our eyes to Christ.Moses was faithful as a servant in God’s house but Jesus is faithful as a Son over God’s house Hebrews 3:5-6 and that distinction alone gives us endless depth to proclaim.Moses led God’s people out of physical bondage but Jesus delivers us from the bondage of sin and death John 8:36.Moses interceded for the people when they sinned yet Jesus is our eternal mediator who lives to make intercession for us Hebrews 7:25.The law came through Moses but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ John 1:17 and every shadow finds its fulfillment in Him.Colossians reminds us that Christ is the substance while the former things were only a shadow Colossians 2:17.No wonder this passage preaches so well because it invites us not only to admire Moses but to fix our hearts on Jesus the apostle and high priest of our confession Hebrews 3:1.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Raju. I am so thrilled that our faith isn’t in Moses, but in the true and better Moses, Jesus Christ.

Amen and amen!
Thanks, Sharon. I’m glad this was a blessing to you!
