I believe the rowboat still has merit, we just cannot think of it as rowing our way to Heaven. Our God-given time, talents & treasures are put into unselfish service for His glorious Kingdom. When, in our service, we give Him all the credit & glory, much can be accomplished. God is really at both ores.
