Brother, this was such a rich and Christ centered reflection.Reading it reminded me again how the heart of the gospel is not about our striving but about Christ being our life Colossians 3 : 4 The way you tied together death resurrection new purpose and future glory was such a blessing Truly every part of our walk flows from what Jesus has already finished for us What encouraged me most was the reminder that we do not live the Christian life trying to earn Gods favor we live from the favor we already have in Christ For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God Colossians 3 : 3.That truth lifts such a heavy weight off our shoulders As you said our new life calls us to set our minds on things above and that brought to mind another verse.Set your minds on things above not on earthly things Colossians 3 : 2 When Christ fills our vision our daily life begins to change from the inside out.Not from pressure but from grace And the hope of glory you described what a promise. When Christ appears we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is 1 John 3: 2.That is the anchor that keeps us steady when everything else feels uncertain. The Lord keeps reminding us My grace is sufficient for you for My power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12 : 9 And Jesus also says Apart from Me you can do nothing John 15 : 5 Through Him we have everything we need for life and godliness. The Lord is my strength and my shield my heart trusts in Him and He helps me Psalm 28: 7 These promises carry us when our strength fails And brother the gospel keeps shaping us daily because He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion Philippians 1 : 6.We do not walk alone He walks with us and goes ahead of us. Brother I also want to share something that has been on my heart regarding the Christmas season. Our childrens in the ministry are waiting with joy and hope and we desire to bless them with simple Christmas gifts like dresses that remind them of the love of Jesus. This is a special time to show them kindness and to plant seeds of faith in their young hearts.Jesus said Let the little children come to Me Matthew 19 : 14 and we want to reflect that same love by giving them something that brings them joy this Christmas. It may be small in our hands but God can use it to touch their hearts in a big way.Every gift is a reminder of the greatest gift God has already given us For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son John 3 : 16.
Thank you for sharing this sir.I texted you sir praying that the Lord continues to multiply His grace upon grace in your ministry your family and the Christmas blessings for the children this year.
Yes, we must reset Christ as the core of every aspect of our identity, our family, our ministry.
May I post this on my #ReCenterCHRIST discussion on Reimagine.Network?
Thanks for reading, Phil, and yes, feel free to share wherever you like.
