I wanted to share this brief post to both announce and clarify the new subscription options for Grace Upon Grace. From this point forward, you can subscribe to this newsletter at a monthly rate of $5 per month or an annual rate of $50 per year. To be clear, these paid subscription options are entirely optional. The free subscriber tier will remain exactly the same, with full access to all my posts, podcasts, and sermons, along with full access to the archives as well. I am treating these paid tiers more or less like “gratuity tiers.” If you have been blessed by what you have read and/or heard through this newsletter, these paid options afford you the ability and opportunity to support my ministry more intentionally. To reiterate, if you don’t feel led to transition to one of these paid tiers, don’t.
Part of me understands the theological irony behind an Internet publication with paid tiers whose namesake is the free grace of Jesus of Nazareth. Nevertheless, please consider this a pressure-free option to contribute to the mission and ministry of Grace Upon Grace commensurate with the blessing and benefit you’ve received from it. There is no obligation to upgrade, but the option is available if you are inspired to do so. In many ways, I am using the apostle Paul’s framework to launch these paid subscription options when he writes, “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion” (2 Cor. 9:7). (I am fully aware that I might be taking that verse out of context, but the underlying sentiment is fitting!)
I cannot thank you enough for your encouragement and support. I am so grateful for each interaction and I am so thankful for many of the connections I’ve made through this newsletter. My sincerest aim is to continue blessing and enriching the lives of weary and worn-out sinners with the good news of God’s “grace upon grace” (John 1:16). Thank you for helping me to that end.
Grace and peace to you.
