Amen brother, this is a beautiful reminder of the power and importance of God’s Word. Jeremiah 15:16 says, Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart. God’s Word is not merely information for our minds but spiritual nourishment for our souls. Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. When we fill our hearts with Scripture, it shapes the way we think, speak, and live. Psalm 119:105 says, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. We need God’s Word every day because it corrects us, strengthens us, encourages us, and continually points us back to Christ. John 6:63 reminds us that the words of Christ are spirit and life. May we never be satisfied with simply hearing the Word, but may we receive it, meditate on it, and live it out faithfully. James 1:22 says, But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only. What a blessing it is that God has given us His Word to guide us until the day we see Him face to face.
