#29: On church planting and gospel ministry in New England with David Morse.

There’s a grave need in the American Church — in the global Church, really — for a rediscovery of the gospel. For instance, swaths of churchgoers sit on pews and give their minimal budgeted offerings, even though, when they leave to resume their weekly routines, they have little or nothing to do with Christ — all while calling themselves Christians. Indeed, I am confident when I say that there are scores of people attending church who aren’t consciously receiving the message of grace that’s being proclaimed from the pulpit. David Morse, therefore, forms his ministry on this mission of rediscovery, that is to say, reformation.
In this edition of the Ministry Minded Podcast, speaker and church planter David Morse joins the show to talk about his endeavor reach the people of Portland, Maine. He and his wife Jaimee have embarked on the mission of planting a church in New England, where it’s his desire for the people of Portland to be renewed and restored by the recovery of the grace of the gospel. In particular, it’s his hope that this work of the ministry would inspire another awakening to the good news of Jesus Christ that really and radically changes lives.
I loved chatting with David and catching his vision for spreading the gospel to the folks of New England. I pray you find it just as inspiring.
